The club was founded in 1962 in the town of Lobatse as the Lobatse CS Gunners. It is one of the biggest football clubs in Botswana.[]
Extension Gunners er et botswansk fotballag fra Gaborone. Klubben ble grunnlagt i 1962 og spiller i Botswanas Premier League. Hjemmebanen deres er Lobatse Stadium. Extension Gunners har vunnet Botswanas Premier League to ganger, i 1999 og 2007, og har vunnet Botswanas FA Cup fire ganger, i 1999, 2001, 2003 og 2011. Klubben har også deltatt i CAF Champions League flere ganger, men har aldri kommet forbi første runde.
