Sepahan

Foolad Mobarakeh Sepahan Sport Club (Persian: باشگاه فرهنگی ورزشی فولاد مبارکه سپاهان, Bâšgâh-è Varzeši-ye Fulâd-è Mobârake-ye Sepâhân), commonly known as Sepahan, are an Iranian sports club based in Isfahan, best known for their association football branch that play in the Persian Gulf Pro League, the highest tier of Iranian football.

In the 2002–03 season, Sepahan ended the total dominance of two Tehran-based clubs, Persepolis and Esteghlal, to win the Pro League. They are also the first Iranian club to win three consecutive league titles, reach the AFC Champions League final in 2007 and qualify for the 2007 FIFA Club World Cup, becoming the first-ever Iranian representative to the tournament. To date, they have won five league titles and four Hazfi Cups, becoming one of the most successful football clubs in Iran.

Sepahan er et iransk fotballag basert i Isfahan. Laget ble stiftet i 1969 og spiller sine hjemmekamper på Naghsh-e Jahan Stadion. Sepahan har vunnet den iranske ligaen fem ganger, senest i 2014-15-sesongen. De har også vunnet den iranske cupen fem ganger, og er det eneste laget som har vunnet begge trofeene i samme sesong (2006-07). Sepahan har deltatt i AFC Champions League ved flere anledninger, og nådde finalen i 2007.

Laget er kjent for sin offensive spillestil og har produsert flere kjente iranske spillere, inkludert Mohsen Bidi, Mehdi Mahdavikia og Andranik Teymourian. Sepahan har også en sterk fanbase, og hjemmekampene deres er ofte utsolgt.

I 2021-22-sesongen endte Sepahan på 3. plass i den iranske ligaen. De vant også den iranske supercupen, og slo Esteghlal 2-0 i finalen.
