India - Mumbai Elite League

The Mumbai Football League, also known as the Harwood League, is organised by Mumbai Football Association (MFA), as a ladder-based competition involving a total of five divisions and over 300 teams. It is the top football league in Mumbai and the second oldest football league in Asia after Calcutta Football League.

The league was named after colonel Harwood who founded the Bombay Football Association and became first president.

India - Mumbai Elite League er en indisk fotballturnering for herrelag i Mumbai-området. Ligaen ble etablert i 2018 og består av 10 lag som konkurrerer om tittelen.

Ligaen spilles over to faser: en vanlig sesong og et sluttspill. I den vanlige sesongen spiller hvert lag mot hverandre to ganger, en gang hjemme og en gang borte. De fire beste lagene etter den vanlige sesongen går videre til sluttspillet, som avgjøres i utslagsrunder.

Vinnerlaget av India - Mumbai Elite League kvalifiserer seg til Durand Cup, en av de eldste og mest prestisjefylte fotballturneringene i India.
