Wikipedia - Deportivo Recoleta

Deportivo Recoleta, or simply known as Recoleta, is a Paraguayan association football club from the neighbourhood of the same name, in Asunción; founded in 1931. After winning the 2022 Primera B Metropolitana championship, the team plays in the División Intermedia, which is equivalent to the second division of the Paraguayan league system.

History

In 2015, both Deportivo Recoleta and Sportivo Ameliano gained promotion from the Primera División C to the Primera División B for the 2016 season.

Deportivo Recoleta er et paraguayansk fotballag som holder til i Recoleta-distriktet i Asunción. Klubben ble grunnlagt i 1925 og spiller i den paraguayanske Primera División.

Deportivo Recoletas hjemmebane er Estadio Rogelio Livieres, som har en kapasitet på 6000 tilskuere. Klubbens farger er blå og hvit, og kallenavnet deres er "Los Recoletos".

Deportivo Recoleta har vunnet to Primera División-titler, i 1954 og 1958. De har også vunnet Copa Paraguay én gang, i 2019.

I internasjonale konkurranser har Deportivo Recoleta deltatt i Copa Libertadores to ganger og Copa Sudamericana to ganger. Deres beste resultat i Copa Libertadores var i 2015, da de nådde gruppespillet.
